Brand Identity
Dr. Rachel Harding is a young scientist and open-access activist challenging the “publish or perish” nature of academic science. She shares all her research on Huntington’s disease, in real-time, on her open-access science blog, something that is unheard of in her field. Through this project, Dr. Harding has aims to create an approachable, open dialogue with HD patients and medical doctors while connecting with other scientists around the word.



I was approached by Rachel to create a brand identity including logo and business cards that would help promote the launch of her new blog. Together we were able to come up with a solution that fit somewhere between Rachel’s controversial push towards open access science and the stuffy world of academia.
